Dedicated Scientific Councils authoriezed to hold the doctor and candidate theses defence procedures have been functioning in the SI "IEG NAS of Ukraine":
- council 26.192.01 on specialty 21.06.01 "Ecological safety" (Geological and Engineering Sciences);
- сouncil 26.192.02 on specialty 04.00.11 "Geology of metal and nonmetal minerals" and 04.00.19 "Economic geology" (Engineering Sciences).
The SI "IEG NAS of Ukraine" enrols to postgraduate and doctoral studies on:
- 21.06.01 — "Ecological safety" (Geological and Engineering sciences);
- 04.00.11 — "Geology of metal and nonmetal minerals";
- 04.00.19 — "Economic Geology";
- 04.00.20 — "Mineralogy, crystallography";
- 21.02.03 — "Civil protection" (technical sciences).
